We are very proud to share the amazing achievement of our club at the British Championship, which took place on 25-28 July 2019 at the M&S Bank Arena, Loverpool.

Anastasia Zorova (born 2010) is the 2019 Under 10 Vice British Champion.

On the first day of the event, Anastasia performed brilliantly her Free and Rope routines. Only nine years old, Anastasia was a year younger than all other competitors who made the finals. At the end of Day 1, Anastasia was leading the Under 10 Category.

On the second day of the event, Anastasia performed her Hoop routine without any serious mistakes. She scored an overall of 30.450 for her three routines. The runner up in the Under 10 Category equaled her overall score with both gymnasts receiving 30.450 for their routines.  Very rare in gymnastics, but we got a tie and according to the gymnastics code of points, the gymnast with the higher overall execution score wins. Such an emotional day!

We are so proud of Anastasia! Regardless of her young age and the thousands of people she performed in front of, she demonstrated unbelievable composure, confidence, courage and maturity beyond her age.
